The Health Ministry will act as an interface to coordinate resources, gifts and expertise internally and externally for the benefit of the body, and ultimately to the Glory of GOD,

All Members of the HEALTH MINISTRY: are encouraged to take the spiritual gifts class so they will know their gift and how it relates to the ministry

The Health Ministry will make health education related presentations to the various ministries and the congregation. In addition, we will participate with other ministries in health related activities.

MEMBERS (with the Gift of Faith, Helps, Miracles, Healing, including prayer warriors) are asked to work in a forum where they can be available to one another (i.e.:  for prayer, and to discuss the biblical relevance of their gifts today) as well as edify the congregation. Also, members will also be asked to participate on some level with the sick and shut in. Whether through phone calls, visits or assistance in access awareness of health related resources, and prayer lists. A list with their names (phone numbers, optional) and gifts is forthcoming and  will be posted on the health ministry board as well as this web site.

ASSOCIATED HEALTH RELATED MINISTRIES: Nurses Board,  Sports Ministry, Cancer Support Group, Ministry of Helps, Substance Abuse Ministry, Counseling Ministry and the HIV/AIDS Ministry.

The Health ministry at FBCC. is holistic in scope, that is, although we look at  individuals as part of the body of Christ-the Body is viewed as it actually is; spirit and flesh, as such, the components which we will seek to address is the spiritual, mental (psychological), physical, intellectual, nutritional and any other dimension that is brought to our attention.

The areas to be focused on will be done through the WORD OF GOD, internally by the Health ministry itself including all associated ministries (any ministry in the church currently active and those in the future, that will aid in the nurture development and empowerment of the individual as part of the body of Christ).
